Words can't even describe how AWESOME the jewelry hand made by Days Long Gone is. She has created some seriously unique jewlery at extremely reasonable prices. I really just want it all and totally could wear the necklaces with everything I own! The first piece is currently my favorite but I truly want one of her moth key necklaces, hopefully I can snag one for myself soon.

help! {cracking knuckles}

I have been cracking my knuckles since 4th grade; I am now 24!!!

I need to stop the madness before I get too old and have ridiculous hands that can't move. It also doesn't help that I annoy the shit out of people when I do it.

The only problem is I can't seem to quit, I have tried going a couple days at a time without cracking but I will end up cracking them without even thinking about it.

I need your HELP!

Do you have any tips that might help me from cracking my knuckles?

Thanks to my awesome boyfriend for making me this brilliant jewelry display for my necklaces and bracelets. He took some extra scrap wood, constructed, painted, and hung this amazing organizational piece just for me! I have so much jewelry I have to house all of my rings somewhere else. I think I might have a jewelry problem ☺

These will probably be the cutest addition to your spring and summer outfits and all of these are pretty reasonably priced too; most of them run between $20 - $24.

I'M BACK!!!!

Hello there lovely readers.

I will finally be able to go back to my normal daily blogging!

This past month has been crazy for me, I was in Albuquerque for two weeks then I drove back to Santa Cruz and then I moved up to Seattle! I got a really cute 1 bedroom brick cottage and couldn't be happier with the location. I have only been in this house a little over a week so I still have a couple things that need unpacking or putting away but overall we had the place set up within a day or two.

I've gotten a lot of feedback from my readers requesting that I share a little bit more of who I am. So I thought I would share with you my kitchen, I cook a lot and spend a bunch of time in this part of the house. It isn't the biggest kitchen so I have opted to keep the countertops as free of clutter as possible. I'm totally pleased with my little work space and already have an idea on my next big purchase .... which is a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, I have wanted one of those babies for a looong time ☺

I'm just getting around to checking out all of the great comments you have left me over the past few weeks; I can't wait to see all the stuff you guys have been posting!

seeing red.

I am naturally a blonde and have been dying my hair for over 10 years and it has been almost every color you could imagine. The past two years I have slowly been dying my hair from black to a bright and rich red color. I have been loving it! My ends are a little dark still but it makes it look like I intentionally blended it that way. My hopes are to have my hair color like the first photo in the next few months, I will post pics as soon as I accomplish my task!

must have mondays {crafty diy top ideas}

If you are like me you just might have an endless supply of t-shirts that are unflattering in the shape or are just plain boring. I found some amazing tutorials on youtube.com that are beyond easy and I feel like anyone can do them! Some of these ideas are no sew required and if they do require sewing it is extremely minimal. I also found a girl in the 5th video who does a lot of really fantastic tops (not a fan of her fabric choices but you can pick any fabric you want, which is awesome!) her tutorials are non verbal so they are perfect for the international viewers. My absolute favorite is the cowl neck dress made of two t-shirts!

I just got surprised with a sewing machine for christmas!!! I'm just gnawing at the bit to get crafting buuuuut since I'm moving out of state in a week my house is in boxes. I will just have to wait till I get to my new house to bust it open.

Do you think you could do this or have you been rocking the diy for ages?

obsession {key to my heart}

100% in love with antique keys and usually any jewelry that has a key charm incorporated with it. I am completely smitten with the steampunk moth necklace and totally admire the use of gold, silver, and bronze into one piece; it would layer so well with different chains. I think the look of skeleton keys used in jewelry making can either be totally hard and edgy or can be the opposite while being the epitome of delicate and charming.
