Wow, it has been way too long.

These past few months have been interesting. I moved to a new state and have been on an emotional roller coaster! Last week I successfully found a new job! I will be working at a Consignment store in a really cool neighborhood. They sell furniture, housewares, knick-knacks, and women's clothing! The ultra bonus is that there are two big sweet dogs who hang out in the store all day! I know that I will be able to find some great items and inspiration while working there full time.

I have been seriously lacking inspiration these past few weeks and have been completely preoccupied with life! I really love where I'm living and have been trying to get out of the house and explore more than anything. After getting my new job and feeling like things have finally turned around I decided that getting back into blogging is a must.

I can already feel Winter leaving and the signs of Spring approaching! One of the hot colors of this upcoming season is BLUE and I definitely need to add a little more blue in my wardrobe. I used to always want blue hair when I was growing up; the closest I got to that was having chunky blue highlights but they were a lot of work to up keep since they would turn green within a week or two.

This month is the 1 year anniversary of my blog!

I will be having an amazing giveaway this month and hope you guys love it! I will keep you updated on when I will be putting it up.

There is some serious cuteness overload happening right now!!! Em & Sprout over at etsy.com sell tons of these handmade Mary Jane's and I am totally in love with the last pair with the bow. These will probably be the cutest addition to your spring and summer outfits and all of these are pretty reasonably priced too; most of them run between $20 - $24.

I'M BACK!!!!

Hello there lovely readers.

I will finally be able to go back to my normal daily blogging!

This past month has been crazy for me, I was in Albuquerque for two weeks then I drove back to Santa Cruz and then I moved up to Seattle! I got a really cute 1 bedroom brick cottage and couldn't be happier with the location. I have only been in this house a little over a week so I still have a couple things that need unpacking or putting away but overall we had the place set up within a day or two.

I've gotten a lot of feedback from my readers requesting that I share a little bit more of who I am. So I thought I would share with you my kitchen, I cook a lot and spend a bunch of time in this part of the house. It isn't the biggest kitchen so I have opted to keep the countertops as free of clutter as possible. I'm totally pleased with my little work space and already have an idea on my next big purchase .... which is a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, I have wanted one of those babies for a looong time ☺

I'm just getting around to checking out all of the great comments you have left me over the past few weeks; I can't wait to see all the stuff you guys have been posting!
