spend or save.

I have only recently started getting into makeup within these past 6 months. I use to wear very minimal makeup and would have a horrible time at attempting to put it on when I tried. So over the past year I started watching youtube.com videos of girls showing how to do makeup, I seriously recommend doing that because I honestly learned some pretty cool tricks. I still don't wear a lot but I have totally been venturing out and investing more on quality products since they have proved to be successful with me. The only problem I have experienced is that I'm too scared to drop money on stuff I'm not sure I will like or use. So as usual I went on ebay.com to find a better deal on some new products I wanted to try. Last week I purchased two Benefit Cosmetics items (I have never used this brand before) I bought the Erase Paste and the Thrrrob Blush. Not only did I get a great deal on these items but I also searched reviews and found they are awesome at what they do.

Have you used any of these products or bought make up from Benefit?

{thrrrob blush - $28 & I paid $5}
{erase paste - $26 & I paid $10}

i love erase paste...it's not too thick and blends well. i like using my fingers more than a concealer brush though...and the blush is a pretty pink. i don't like to use the brush they give you since it doesn't go on even...benefit has the best products ever!

Hy there!
It's a great idea to watch youtube tutorials. I am obsessed with them, especially with Kandee Johnson, I'm sure you know who she is.
I love make up anyway, but congrats on buying the products cheaper on youtube! I like this kind of deals:D

Thanks for commenting on my blog!

I have found that all Benefit cosmetics are great. I haven't used the Thrrrob color but I have the same pressed powder in other shades and it's fantastic, it's somewhere in between translucence and color. If you're not into make up but just need a "touch up" on your face, try carrying their "Just in case" kit. It has a base color to touch up unexpected blemishes, eye brightener, lip gloss and lip tincture. That, mascara and an eyeliner in your purse and you could do practically anything/

Wow. That's an amazing deal. Good thinking checking out youtube for makeup tips too!

I have the erase paste too and like it a lot. It's the first concealer that actually covers my dark circles instead of making them even more visible.

Haha, I just started out with makeup too. And watching the youtube tutorials. Kandee Johnson and juicystar07 are my favourites.

And I LOVE benefit cosmetics. My skin is really sensitive and I have no problems with benefit!
I haven't used these two. I've got YouRebel lite and the pocketpal so far. Maybe Baby is on my christmas list.

Thanks for the comment on my blog!

I was a huge benefit lover in middle and high school with their dusting powder eye shadows, but I find the color to be too sheer now and definitely overpriced! I will definitely look online now when trying to find their products!

But with that said, I SWEAR by Benefit's Hoola ($28). It's the only bronzer I can find that has no shades of orange in it and really blends well with the skin, I'm also pretty pale and it still looks natural!

I also love their concealer sticks which I always keep stashed in my purse.

Which beauty channels do you look at?! I watch Blair and Elle a lot but don't know of much else.

I've never tried any benefit make up but have heard great things about the brand, so I might try it out sometime, starting with the blush or bronzer I think.

I haven't used these particular products, but I love benefit. My favorite items are their Moon Beam Luminizer, which makes your skin look like it's glowing, and their Benetint pocketpal lipstain, you can use it as blush too.
