jack-o'-lanterns

On Sunday Nick and I decided it was time to carve some pumpkins....so to the patch we went!! It actually took a little longer than I was expecting to find the perfect pumpkin, but once I did I was set to jet and ready to get this carving party ready. I had so much fun figuring out a design and carving the owl that the minute it gets dark outside now, I light that candle and stare at how cool it turned out!! Do you plan on carving a pumpkin this year?

This one is Nick's he came up with the design and did it free hand, his is much more ghoulish than mine. You can find more of

his art on his flickr account.

or here on his blog.

he plans on posting more paintings soon.

Wow the owl one is so good! I can only make basic "scary" faces that actually don't even look scary haha

oooh it's sooo nice!

I'm French, and, unfortunately, in France the lantern is not a habit, and it's a shame!

I would like to carve pumpkins too :D
